My blogging days have officially begun, presumably heralding brighter days ahead.

Caryse would not fall asleep tonight in her own bed without my presence in her room, so I minimized the brightness of my PowerBook, praised the ineffable beauty of 802.11b (which allows, among other things, bathrooms and surfing to co-exist peacefully), and set up this blog in the Baby Rocking Chair.

Movable Type (the engine behind the magic) was a breeze to set up, though my Apache httpd config file had to be coaxed into playing nice. I'm quite impressed with what I've seen so far.

It was a noteworthy Saturday, capped by a visit from no less than Mrs. Governor Leavitt and her daughter to discuss wedding announcements with Megan. It will be interesting to see how this develops, and if Megan will be able to establish a name for herself with this project.
