Wedding Truths.
Mar 18 2005
I have learned several incontrovertible truths about weddings, based on my own experience and observations:
- Only one decision matters: "I do".
- Nothing else matters.
- Those who fund an aspect of a wedding ultimately decide that aspect of the wedding.
- Those who fund an aspect of the wedding deserve to decide that aspect of the wedding.
- 24 hours after the deed is done (no, not that deed), no one cares about any wedding decision other than the one that matters.

too true! as someone planning a wedding and the grateful recipient of (unexpected) funding for much of that wedding, i can wholeheartedly agree with assertions 1-4. as for 5, i’ll know in 6 months. :-)
